The windows program provided with the slimshot does quite a lot of post processing on the image. This is most noticable in low light conditions. (60W bulb in room, in this shot).

Gamma correction improves the problem somewhat, but doesn't fix it...
These are the operations the windows software performs: Sharpening, "Star Killer", "Histogram Stretch", "Exposure Control", "White Balance", Crosstalk filter, remove Floating Point Noise
